NEARLY two-thirds of adults in Monmouthshire have received two doses of a Covid-19 vaccine, figures reveal.
Public Health Wales data shows 49,854 people aged 18 and over have been given both doses of a vaccine up to June 13 – 63 per cent of the area's age group.
They make up part of the 70,980 people who have been given at least one jab.
Figures show:
• 18 to 29 – 1,663 administered (15 per cent)
• 30 to 39 – 2,168 (21 per cent)
• 40 to 49 – 4,277 (38 per cent)
• 50 to 54 – 5,698 (77 per cent)
• 55 to 59 – 7,023 (88 per cent)
• 60 to 64 – 6,186 (92 per cent)
• 65 to 69 – 5,794 (94 per cent)
• 70 to 74 – 6,126 (96 per cent)
• 75 to 79 – 4,718 (96 per cent)
• 80+ – 6,201 (96 per cent)
Across Wales, 1.4 million people have had both doses, 54% of the over-16 population, and 2.2 million (86%) have had at least one dose.
Vaccinations are being given at 546 locations across Wales, including at 360 GP surgeries, 41 vaccination centres and 35 hospitals.
