WYE Valley Meadery opened their very own taproom over the weekend.
The meadery, which recently moved from its Chepstow site to a bigger premises in Caldicot’s Severn Bridge Industrial Estate, will now be allowed to serve its produce to visitors.
Set up by brothers Kit and Matt Newell, Wye Valley Meadery use locally sourced honey, water and yeast to create a modern take on a drink which has been made for centuries.
Co-founder Kit Newell said: "We finally launched the taproom inside the meadery on the September 25.
"It went really well last weekend.
"It was fantastic to finally have people in here enjoying a pint of sparkling mead after all the work we've done to get ready."

In nine short months, Wye Valley Meadery has sprung up from what was an empty shell of an industrial unit.
The meadery's new building was previously used to house Monmouthshire's museum artefacts, and had been vacant for more than 10 years.
"We've been spending all of our available time and energy (and money) to turn it into a place where we can produce and also enjoy our drinks," said Mr Newell.
"The launch was a success, we had an almost full house and some wonderful feedback on our newly launched drinks (a hazy pollen pale ale and a sour cherry sparkling mead).
The meadery are now planning on opening the taproom every Friday from 2pm-9pm and every Saturday 3pm-10pm.
"We will be hosting events such as comedy nights, live music and board game evenings," said Mr Newell.
