A MAN was stabbed in broad daylight in Cwmbran town centre yesterday afternoon.
The man, 28, from Rogerstone, is currently in hospital in a stable condition after suffering a stab wound to the leg at around 2.30pm on Wednesday, November 10.
Gwent Police confirmed that the injury is not believed to be life threatening or life changing.

Officers have identified the attacker, who has not yet been found.
Local Inspector Aled George said: "This is an isolated incident and although it is rare for an incident of this nature to take place in daylight in such a public area, I understand that it may cause concern for people living in or visiting Cwmbran.
"We have an increased our presence in the town centre today and I would encourage anyone to come up to speak to us so we can provide some reassurance.
"The suspect involved has been identified and we have a team of officers carrying out enquiries to locate him."
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident who may have information that could assist with their enquiries.
