TORFAEN'S own Miss UK flies to China on Saturday hoping to be crowned Miss International 2009.
Former Miss Wales Chloe-Beth Morgan, from Cwmbran, was named Miss UK in July, and is jetting off to compete in the major global pageant this week. She is up against 60 other contestants all going for the title.
She said: “I am really excited about it. I hope that I will do not only Wales but the UK proud when I represent Great Britain at the Miss International final.
“It just shows that the Miss Wales competition really can open doors to so many new opportunities. I would recommend it to anyone.”
