Division one
Robert Thorn celebrated his East Gwent Squad call-up with four goals against Undy Athletic A. Sudbrook Cricket Club A's other scorers in the 8-1 victory were Mark Cochrane (2), David Jenkins and Gordon Devoir.
Tippling Philosopher continued their recent good run with a 2-1 victory over Chepstow Town, Leighton McEwan grabbing both goals.
Tintern Abbey A finally showed some of last season's form, as they out-played Portskewett A 5-1. Scorers for the Abbey were Steve Jones, Zeb Learney, Stuart Mackie, Wayne Duffield and Matt Collins.
Caldicot Town recorded their first win of the season with a 2-1 victory at Monmouth Town A. Chris Hourihane played a major part in Caldicot's goals, while Monmouth's goal came from Chris Hughes.
Division two
Steven Lovell's push to top his father as Portskewett B's top scorer this season came a step closer as he bagged all of his side's four goals in a 4-3 win at home to Tintern Abbey B.
All of Undy Athletic B's goals were scored by U18 players in their 6-0 victory over Sudbrook Cricket Club B: Lee Harris (2), George Jones (2), Stuart Chancellor and Greg Parsons were the scorers.
Bulwark continue to drag themselves away from the bottom of the league with a creditable 2-2 draw at home to Chepstow Athletic, Kenny Roberts scoring both Bulwark goals.
Table-topping Caldicot Castle A overcame a defiant Monmouth B, winning 4-2. Castle A goals came from Anthony Robbins (2), Simon Woodfield and Martin Williams.
Thornwell Burnt Barn secured a 3-1 home victory over Caldicot Castle B, with goals from Tom Skuse, Darren Cann and Darren Gilliver.
Underwood B destroyed Mathern Wanderers 9-2 at Mathern. Goals from the home team were scored by Daniel Windos and Paul Duffield.
There will be no fixtures this Saturday, because of Wales' game against Serbia and Montenegro.
