Abergavenny Rugby Club travel to Abercarn this Saturday with a full squad.
Caretaker coach Steve Hamer, pictured right, told the Free Press there have been no injuries reported, and the mood in the camp was good.
The former Bailey Park forward was pleased with the club's second string side performance over the weekend against Blaina despite going down narrowly 27-25.
The team included a few players from the first team, which Hamer reckons is important for the club.
"It was good for the firsts to help the second team out. It was also useful for them, because it gets their match fitness up to speed," he said.
The first team kick-off at Abercarn at 2.30pm.
