Divison one
Tintern Abbey 'A' made a five-star recovery against Chepstow Town, coming from 0-3 down to win 5-4. Tintern goals came from Matt Collins (2), Ben Mackie, Stuart Seabury and Tom Marchmont.
Brothers helped Tippling Philosopher record their first league win with a 3-0 victory at Cross Hop. Scott Millinship (2) and Greg Millinship were the scorers.
Underwood 'A' eased their way passed Monmouth Town 'A' with a 4-1 score line. Underwood scorers were Richard Snell, James Mcmanus, David Rees and Jamie Green.
An injury-hit squad did not help Portskewett 'A' at home to Asda. Paul Merrett put Portskewett ahead, only for Andrew Vaughan to score a well-deserved equaliser late on. Undy Athletic 'A' scored a fine 3-0 home win over Caldicot Town, Undy's scorers were Simon Yates, Neil Brown and Alan Hobby.
Divison two
Goal king Carl Arthur scored another hat-trick to take his total to seven goals in two games, as Sudbrook Cricket Club 'B' defeated Bulwark 3-2.
Thornwell Burnt Barn claimed their first win of the season, beating Tintern Abbey 'B' 5-3 - see report right. Caldicot Castle 'A' consolidated their position at the top of Division 2 with a 1-0 home win over Undy Athletic 'B', Simon Woodfield grabbing the only goal.
Monmouth Town 'B' pulled off the shock of the day, defeating Underwood 'B' 4-2. Monmouth's goals came from Brett Cox (2), Jack Alderdice and Lee Prosser.
Portskewett 'B' continued their good start to the season with a creditable 4-1 away win at Mathern Wanderers, Mathern's scorer was Rob Kennedy.
Finally, Athletic won 3-0 away to Caldicot Castle 'B,' two of the goals coming from the penalty spot.
