Argus Shield:
Chepstow Ath 2, Portskewett B 0
The game started well, with both sides up for a good game. Portskewett were first to challenge the goal but a call for a penalty was not given.
Chepstow went on the attack. The game could have gone either way.
Then a shot from Ashley Palmer was turned in to the net by Chris Hooper as Chepstow took the lead to make it 1-0.
In the second half Portskewett had a lot of chances but just couldn't put them away.
Then a free kick from Gavin Thomas which the Porskewett keeper couldn't hold let in Ali McDonald to put the rebound into the back of the net making it 2-0 at the final whistle.
