Watkins ShieldQuarter-Final
Caldicot Town battled back from 2-0 down at half time to defeat Rockfield Rovers A 3-2. Daniel Macdonald's brace before the interval wasn't enough for the Monmouth outfit as Caldicot fought back with second half goals from Dave Jenkins (2) and Matthew Addis. Monmouth Town a struggled to defeat a resilient Portskewett A 3-2 in Monmouth. Tintern Abbey and Underwood A had easier passages through to the semi-final though. Underwood defeated Undy Athletic 8-0 whilst Tintern also netted eight times against Chepstow Town. Chepstow did however net a consolation in their tie through Nathan Jones.
Argus Shield Quarter-Final
High-flying Caldicot Castle A walked into the semi-final draw after a comfortable 8-0 home win over Thornwell. Warren Jones netted five for the Castle. Rory Aldritt, Simon Bryant and a Rikki Winser penalty rounded off the eight goal haul for them.
Chepstow Athletic narrowly defeated Portskewett B 2-0 thanks to goals from Chris Hooper and Ali Macdonald. Bulwark pulled off the shock of round by defeating Rogiet-Tippling 4-1 away from home. Andy Fuller scored a brace for the Black and Whites including deft lob.
Andrew McEwan and an own goal Bulwark's other goal contributors. Tippling netted through a heavily deflected strike from James Kiely. The other remaining tie between Underwood B and Sudbrook C/C A was called off because of an unmarked pitch at Underwood.
Harry Fishwick Cup First Round
Sudbrook C/C B lost 5-2 at home to cup favourites Mathern Wanderers. Richard Beech turned the game into a one-man show by scoring four of the five Mathern goals.
The other goal for Mathern was netted by Steve Price. Mike Levett and Ian Parker scored the Cricket Club goals. Monmouth Town B cruised into the semi-final draw following an 9-0 away win at Caldicot Castle B.
Division Three
In the only league fixture to be played on the day, Devauden Green incredibly overcame Rockfield Rovers B 9-5 at their Shirenewton ground. Among Devauden's scorers were Steve and Rory Prettyjohn, Steve Baynton and Peter Maddox. Rockfield's goals came from Lee Pszczola (2), Simon Quick, Andy Bowkett and Lee Newell.
The result moves Devauden up into second position in the league.
