RELEGATION threatened Monmouth RFC had their six-pointer with Crumlin cancelled on Friday night, with the clash now being scheduled for Friday, March 17.
This weekend Monmouth are at home to fellow strugglers Oakdale, kick-off at 2.30pm on Saturday, with both teams urgently in need of points down at the bottom of Division Four East.
The tie is crucial for both sides, with Monmouth RFC club secretary confirming this week that the bottom two clubs will go down, along with one third-bottom club from the five Welsh regions with the poorest points difference.
Monmouth's own points difference is comparably favourable after a series of narrow defeats, so a third-bottom finish could be sufficient to avoid the drop.
