Division One

Chepstow Town outgunned a tricky Rockfield Rovers A side 4-2 in Chepstow. Rob Kennedy blasted a well-aken brace for the home side, assisted with goals from fellow colleagues Neil Burley and Dwane McEwan. Tintern Abbey climbed back to the top and a step closer to the league title, following a 6-1 home win over Portskewett A. Portskewett scored first, but were soon punished with goals from Gary Burchill, Neil Mackie, Ian Fell, Gareth Moore, Tom Marmon and an own goal. Tintern now lead the way with 43 points with four games left.

Division Two

Thornwell inflicted only a second league defeat of the season upon leaders Chepstow Athletic (see report below). The final score was 3-0 in a game which Thornwell bossed from start to finish. Gavin Lewis, Kenny Vidler and Daniel Hinds all took their chances well for Thornwell in front of their jubilant home supporters. After netting five times last week for Sudbrook Cricket Club A, Carl Arthur was a tightly marked man in the derby match against Rogiet-Tippling. Everybody was shocked into submission as the Tippling raced into a 3-0 lead after only 25 minutes of play. Richard Withey headed the Tippling in front following a good cross from Rob Morley. Morley himself doubled the visitors' lead ten minutes later, with a sublime lob from 25 yards.

Andy Hunt completed the quick-fire start with a scrambled goal following a Matty Pugh corner.

Rob Jones did, however, restore Cricket Club pride just before half-time with a glancing header from a free kick.

With the strike partnership of Carl Arthur and Neil Richards even more tightly marked in the second half, Sudbrook found it hard to penetrate the solid Tippling defence and the game petered out into a 3-1 win for the Tippling.

Division Three

Monmouth Town B cruised to a 3-0 victory over a weakened Devauden Green in Monmouth.

Elliott Ford, Colin Jones and Phil Jeffs grabbed the goals, to keep Monmouth one point clear at the top of the league.

Mathern Wanderers only just managed a slender 3-2 home win over Caldicot Castle B (see report below). Paul Kelly, James Taylor and Gareth Fenton scored the goals that secure three points for promotion-seeking Mathern.

Finally, Rockfield Rovers B ran out 3-1 winners over Sudbrook Cricket Club B, thanks to goals from Andy Bowkett, Luke Hopkins and Danny Foster.
