AFTER a weekend off while scheduled opponents West End tried their luck in the League of Wales Trophy semi-finals, Goytre travel to high-flying Pentwyn Dynamos this Saturday looking for a resurgence in form (kick-off 2pm).
Pentwyn are second in the Third Division of the Welsh League, having taken 14 points from their last six home games. Goytre, meanwhile, have themselves slipped down the table to 12th after a 1-0 reverse to managerless Chepstow Town a fortnight ago.
As a result, club chairman Paul Greenhalgh has been looking at the statistics and is under no circumstances taking the game lightly.
He said: "We know it's going to be a difficult game. They pipped us 2-1 at our place and it was a close game, but on their own patch they're doing pretty well.
"It'll be a tricky task but as long as the boys go there and give 100 percent, that's all we can ask for.
"Hopefully we'll get something from the game as we've got to start picking up points."
