ASDA is to hold a two-day public exhibition in Abergavenny.
Representatives from the supermarket giant are coming to the town to meet with the public to discuss the planning application for the store (due to open next year) with residents and local organisations.
It follows an exhibition organised by developers Henry Boot last autumn, where plans for the re-development of the cattle market site were exhibited.
A detailed planning application was lodged at the end of January, which includes a food store to be operated by ASDA.
The store would be 28,000sq ft, making it the smallest ASDA in Wales. A car park of 371 spaces would be provided with 192 on ground level and 179 underground. The ASDA store would generate in the region of 280 new jobs.
The exhibition will take place in the Priory Centre, Monk Street on Friday March 3 between 10.30am and 5.30pm and Saturday March 4 between 10am and 4pm.

Simon Leonard, ASDA's property communications manager, said: "We are very excited by the opportunity of coming to Abergavenny. We look forward to discussing the proposal and how ASDA will be operating this store."
