TEAM manager Steve Morgan was left with a lack of options on Saturday, after several of his players missed the team bus for the away trip to Valleys outfit Ystradgynlais.
Goytre travelled with just a bare starting 11 for the Welsh League Division Three fixture, naming 40-year-old coach Nigel Haines as a lone substitute. And at 2-1 down in the second half with no strikers on the bench to call upon, Goytre suffered with no means of a fightback.
Instead, centre half Andy Walsh was pushed up front - but club chairman Paul Greenhalgh admits that move was "not ideal".
Walsh was sent up front late on in desperation; but the switch left Goytre exposed at the back for Ystradgynlais to net their third with eight minutes to play
