LEARNABOUT and Cwmbran Centre for Young People held a special arts day on July 15 to showcase the talents and skills of young people in Torfaen.
Diane Pugh of CCYP organised the event, which gave young people who attend Learnabout the opportunity to express themselves through art and music.
She said: "Everyone worked really hard and spent many weeks preparing and organising the day making cakes, working on their art and recording their music.
"It was a good day and a wonderful way to celebrate our young people."
Anthony Holland who is on the training programme said: "Myself and other members wanted to put on a show for others, we made music and recorded it, we also made cakes and art work for a little gallery we had upstairs. "It was a lot of fun and it was hard work getting it all together."
Lewis Jones who is also on the programme said: "For my ASDAN Bronze Project I decided to write my own piece of instrumental guitar music, which I recorded and played on the presentation day.
"All the members of the group also did their own individual pieces of art, which was shown throughout the performances. I think the day was a success."
