Usk Valley Trampoline Club had six finalists and entries in the last Welsh trampoline event of the season – the Club Cup Championships and Challenge Series – with nearly all of them finishing in the top five of their groups.

Unfortunately, another two were unable to compete in Penarth on the day.

Millie Forrest and Evie Forrest finished fourth and fifth respectively in their Regional 2 Challenge Cup Final event after medal success for both girls in earlier rounds.

Rowan Peres Da Costa, competing in Regional 1, finished in seventh place.

The club also had three finalists who had previously qualified to enter this Welsh event at club level 3.

All three won a medal with Amelia Evans gaining silver in the 13/14 years section, while Emily Lewis also won silver in the 15-plus category.

Ella Tutton won a trophy for first place in the 15-plus section, thereby becoming the Welsh Club Cup champion for the season.

Usk Valley Trampoline Club trains at Pontypool Active Living Centre on Saturdays and is running through most of the summer holidays.

New members are welcome and trial sessions are available.
